Who we are
Modesto Electrician Pros connects Modesto-area homeowners with independent, third-party electrical contractors — see our About page for details on how that works.
Information we collect
When you submit our quote request form or call our tracked phone number, we collect the information you provide directly — such as your name, phone number, email address (if given), ZIP code, and a description of the electrical work you need. We also collect standard technical information automatically, such as your IP address, browser type, and pages visited, through cookies and similar tracking technologies described below.
SMS / text message opt-in data
If you provide your phone number and check the consent box on our quote form, you agree to receive calls and text messages from Modesto Electrician Pros and the specific independent electrical contractor(s) matched to your request about your request. Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply. You can reply STOP at any time to opt out of text messages, or reply HELP for help. Consent to receive texts is never a condition of using our service or purchasing anything.
No mobile opt-in data or phone numbers collected for SMS purposes will be shared with any third party or affiliate for marketing or promotional purposes. Your phone number is shared only with the specific independent electrical contractor(s) needed to fulfill your service request — never sold, and never shared for unrelated marketing.
How we use your information
We use the information you provide to match you with an independent local electrician who can address your request, to contact you about that request, and to improve this site. We do not sell your personal information.
Cookies & tracking technologies
This site uses cookies and similar technologies (such as Google Analytics, once connected) to understand how visitors use the site and to measure the performance of our content. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling them may limit some site functionality but won’t prevent you from using our quote form or calling us.
Call recording
California is an all-party consent state for call recording (Penal Code § 632). If calls to our tracked number are recorded for quality or training purposes, you’ll hear a disclosure at the start of the call. By continuing the call after that disclosure, you consent to the recording.
Data security
We use reasonable administrative and technical safeguards to protect the information you provide, including transmitting form submissions over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we can’t guarantee absolute security.
Your rights & choices
You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you, and to opt out of future communications at any time (reply STOP to texts, or contact us using the details on our Contact page). California residents have additional rights under state privacy law; contact us to make a request.
Children's privacy
This site is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The "last updated" date above reflects the most recent revision.
